Bio

Pro windsurfer and now MC, Ruben Petrisie was born in 1982. Raised on the island of Bonaire where he got introduced to the sport Windsurfing. Since day 1 I never stopped Windsurfing, he said in an Interview with Motion Magazine (Netherlands).

As time went by while practicing this extreme sport, he became very competitive and won several National and International events, including the first speed event ever held on the Island of Bonaire.
Ruben has been sponsored by most Mayor Windsurf brands and has been traveling overseas for some over 7 Years now. He attended Windsurf events on the (PWA) World Tour and the (EFPT) European Freestyle Pro Tour. The Island of Bonaire knows just a few top Athletes who made it into Professional Windsurfing scene.

In 2005 The EFPT elected Ruben as the Rookie of the year. Ruben is still windsurfing and will continue with the sport Windsurfing for as long as his body allows him to.

Last couple of years Ruben has been spending some time of time between traveling and competing to write some, record a few tracks and perform Internationally.

How did he get to ride on that road?

Well It seems that music always surrounded Ruben. He comes from a musical Family starting with his Father a great guitarist and positive lyricist. His Mother sang in a gospel core. One brother who attended a few Jazz Festivals in the Caribbean plays the drums and both of his Sisters are singers too.

Being around and listening to music was and is a part of him.
Ruben picked up the Mice after he discovered Turkey Alacati in 2007.
He accidentally ran into Turkish rap Artist Tetik who suggested him to give Rapping a try. He then was introduced to Yasin from Base Mode records in Ankara and recorded His first Track ever. ''one of ma dayz'' a simple funny example of one of his daily experiences. During that same week he met with Roon (RoonBeat) who came by from Germany to visit the studio.

Shortly after a small chit chat they recorded the track, '' dreams '' one of the favorite, so far among listeners . The strong message it contains '' Go and Follow Dreams on '' is basically what this kid did. To be able to Rap was just like a silly dream to Ruben. But instead Opportunity given chance taken. In the end, It was more like a dream come true Experience when he got to listen to his own voice coming out of the speakers. With a track like '' dreams " he wants to encourage others to go on and follow their own dreams.

Ruben has been working with Yasin, RoonBeat, Ray productions, DJ APJ and Brokbeatz on several tracks that are digitally available to listen to. Some of these tracks where presented live on stage, at international windsurf events in Countries such as Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, Russia, Turkey and Sweden. Most of those in his first year as a Rookie MC.
